Fuck You HubPages

An Open Letter to HubPages:

Dear HubPages Administration,

You are a bunch of poncy little bitches.

Without Question you are failures, potheads and people of little ethical substance.

I hope your fucking site sinks. You deserve to fail. I hope your writers learn about all your secret underhanded mechanations  and  obvious plan to create  a stable of ignorant writers; not untalented, who will write for nothing.

HubPages has obviously decided that they are going to follow the Associated Content or AOL Way method and exploit new writers for content until they wise up and move on.

FlubPages  Sheep for the Slaughter  Join FlubPages NOW!

Im going to dig up as many ex-Hubbers as possible and see if any are willing to share their experiences.

Do you have a Hubpages Horror Story?

  1. I told them, I told them, I told them!

HubPages deserved their slap, the culture of cheating and gaming of Google totally caught up to them. The "big names" who enjoyed success based on SEO trickery finally got what they deserved.

I wont even communicate in that failed community anymore. The staff have always been a bunch of hacks, I have been working online since they were in diapers and they listened to one of my suggestions and even thought my code of ethics was a bad idea.

    Screw them all.

    1. How do they get by with being such a crappy organization. I had several well viewed articles posted there. I had plans for over 100 more. They slapped me down without any substantive warning though I was making money for them. At a real job you usually get a talk from the boss before you cross the final line.

  3. Hilarious!

Its funny how many little notes like this exist now.

I was a very active Hubber and quite proud of the site. Now every other move fills me with disgust. Im not sure I would be this attacking of the staff, they are just doing their jobs as told to them Im sure. but, that place got real lame real quick

  4. Hubpages is not a content farm, its a content toilet bowl! And the moderators and staff are all hacks, have you seen some of their hubs? My kid sister can do better and she's in kindy.

The site is going down like the Titanic and the Hubpage staff are in total denial.

    1. First they jimmied my overall views numbers DOWN by by thousands of views, then they suspended the article claiming "excessive promotion," then they claimed their new numbers are correct and that the problem is "resolved."

The only feed-back I was able to provide was "hey, how did I lose thousands of views?" They are ripping me off and attempting to feed me bovine excrement as a substitute for cash.

They are content Nazis playing the "we have all the control" card. I will happily prove them wrong.

  5. I agree, Fuck Hubpages. I started hubpages last week. After adding all by blogs to my hubs for backlinks. I got my hubs suspended. It appears they do not like blogger.com I thought writing hubs would increasemy profits. But it was all a waste of time.

  6. I agree. HubPages are thieving scumbags. After two years of writing there, they banned my account with no explanation. Unpublishing all of my articles. And stealing all of the revenue earned via my referrals.

They're nothing more than common thieves.

    BEWARE!

  7. Hubpages are a stpid to me too, i have created a new hub long month back, still its pending. Not approved nor rejected. Seems hubpages editor slept forever.

  8. YOU DO NOT MAKE MONEY WITH HUB PAGES! We had over 2 years of quality content all to be unpublished and removed for no reason without violating the TOS. Don't even bother wasting your time. They should work out with the user if they don't like outside links. Especially since they moved everyone to subdomains.

Site is a total well developed web scam!

  9. everyone came here after searching fuck you hub-pages and I'll say fuck you hugeness quilaty team. All of the are nonsense; they created a guideline and i did follow them but they send me this MSG after a real hard work . "This user has been banned from HubPages". I'll again say fuck all of you Paul Edmondson, CEO of HubPages, and Jason Menayan Director of Marketing.

  11. I signed up to hubpages. Posted 100 articles in just a few days - all my previous work. I couldn't get either of my web browsers to connect to Hubpages, but all other sites work fine. I believe they banned me. I don't know. I got no emails from them and I can access the site via proxy. I thought it would make me money, now I'm thinking I'll run my own site - just to have the control. (My domain was jyorkcar.hubpages.com )

  13. I don't like the way they pay authors their paltry pay 30 days after the money is earned. A lot of the hubs are either mediocre or boring. The few that write on controversial topics find that people are enjoying their writing but they are still not making any money. So much potential for all involved but pretty much all of it is wasted by HP.

  18. I have been with HP for a couple years. I most recently wrote admin to ask if anything could be done about (false) advertising on job boards that imply writing on HP is a paying/steady pay job and my concern was ignored. It doesn't matter if these ads on job boards come straight from HP or if they are attached to affiliate ID's straight from hubbers hoping to boost their non-existent/meager pay.

Thus, I have come to the conclusion that they truly do not give a care and want as many writers they can get no matter how they get them. Problem is, extremely few people are actually earning anything on a monthly basis and of those that are getting monthly payouts, the vast majority could not pay a small utility bill or fill a gas tank with it.

DO NOT waste your time, effort, or skills on this content farm/toilet.

  21. Just closed my account after it was bumming around untouched for a few months. It seems you can't write a hub without some shit head spreading Jesus' s word or bitching about abortion and Obama

  22. Hubpages is a scam, it exploits the people who write for it by stealing their money. Having to reach $50 a month to get paid, then back to 0% if you don't, is a shameful con. Why waste your time and energy on this appalling site? It's a shame Squidoo sold out to these disgusting fiends.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ahh. Removed all of my articles, sent the bitchiest email in my 17 years on this Earth, and closed my account. Now I am usually a pretty resptectful lady, but with this, NOPE. Jason and Paul need to take their heads out of their asses and stop ripping of their writers. I have commendations for my writing, so I thought Hubpages would be a way to demonstrate that and get paid. What the fuck was I thinking? Of course, I was banned, they stole all of my work, and took my money. All those poor Squidoo users got fucked over, along with people like me, who fall for their shit.
    My lovely little email:
"As much as I enjoyed my brief time writing for Hubpages, I am now asking for one last request. Please close my account. My BANNED account. I published my own work, but I guess my college level essays just didn't please y'all. I have seen so many low level reviews about Hubpages, and everybody was in the same boat as me. So, farewell, and I can go finish my eBook, "Postulate's", then enjoying the fact that I can keep my own work. Your writers are the backbone of Hubpages, so I really do hope you start treating them better. Unlike the Squidoo problem. Tell me, how is your money, corporate? Just how big is your CEO's house? OH! Let me Guess... He's gotta pool! How cute.

    With the sweetest regards,

    Isabelle"

  24. I allowed my Squidoo lenses to be migrated to HubPages and for a while I was getting quite a view views on my 40+ hubs. The earnings threshold is $50. The closer I got to that magic number, the more my daily earnings dropped. My earnings total currently stands at $46 and change. And HubPages has reduced my daily earnings to ONE THIRD OF A CENT PER DAY! In other words, I am never going to see a penny of those earnings. I'm guessing I'm not the only one in this situation. If you feel like writing, start your own blog. Don't get taken for a ride by HubPages. They have the power to reduce your earnings to prevent you from ever cashing out...and you have no say in the matter.

  25. I had heard that hubpages were difficult to publish and deal with them. I signed up yesterday and uploaded 2 articles that i checked with copyscape and another service it tested 99% unique/original. Both articles tested at 99% and both wee unpublished in less than a day and both now sayd DUPLICATE. No matter how many times i edit it now and try to submit it again nothing happens. If its going to be this difficult each time? no thanks i have other things to do.
